As of Sunday May 23, the coronavirus infection rate in Monaco stood at 20.86, down from 36.5 seven days previously, the Government reported on Tuesday evening.
The same benchmark rate in the neighbouring Alpes-Maritimes, based on number of positive tests per 100,000, stands at 45.
On Tuesday, May 25, one new positive case was recorded in Monaco, as well as one full recovery.
Three non-residents are receiving treatment for coronavirus at the Princess Grace Hospital, while seven Monaco residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home.
