Eight Monaco residents tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday, while five residents were declared to be fully recovered.
This takes the three-day total for Friday, Saturday and Sunday to 35. The figure for the previous weekend was 25.
Twenty-seven residents are being treated at the Princess Grace Hospital, six of them in intensive care.
The number of residents suffering from mild symptoms recovering at home now stands at 107.
Meanwhile, one in three adults in the UK has received a first coronavirus jab and infections and deaths are falling fast. On Sunday, 9,834 new coronavirus cases,a fall from last Sunday’s figure of 10,972.New deaths were 215 compared to 258 last Sunday. The seven-day rolling average indicates that cases fell by 16.2 percent compared to the previous week while deaths were down by 27.4 percent.
