CMB Monaco is changing its image on September 14 with a brand new identity and a fresh look.

The “Banking Ahead” concept is the fil rouge of CMB’s new communication platform, which focuses on a high-end clientele.The development of this vision is based on the values coded in the bank’s DNA: high profile consulting excellence, agile and personalised approach to wealth management, impeccable customer care and the unmatched passion of its bankers – amplified by support from leading-edge technology.

To develop this concept CMB Monaco used their Monesgasque roots as a starting point. CMB Monaco is the only bank operating in Monaco that was created on Monegasque soil, CEO Francesco Grosoli said in an exclusive interview. “We have a very strong local DNA. Since we were founded in 1976 we have operated as a private bank and most importantly as a Monaco bank.”

However, this is much more than a rebranding exercise, Mr Grosoli told Monaco Daily News. The bank itself is changing, “We want to redesign the concept of private banking and the private investment banking model”, he explained. CMB Monaco, which has both a Monaco DNA and is part of the Mediobanca Group, has the opportunity to leverage the synergies with Mediobanca’s corporate & investment banking services in order to offer the best solutions for their clients.

Indeed, Mr Grosoli is clear that the bank needs to respond to changes in client demand and place the client at the heart of the private banking equation. “We want to dominate the market in terms of quality. Our people are passionate in their commitment to client service,” he said.

The leading private bank has already initiated some major changes over the last year. One of the main changes was the reorganisation of the offer around four key customer segments. “We have four very clear pillars: Firstly, we expand our Private banking franchise. Secondly, we have a premier banking offering for Monaco-based clients. This will be primarily digital banking with a human face. Thirdly, we service the corporate segment, serving companies operating in Monaco. Fourthly, we offer B2B services for asset managers and multi-family offices.”
