CFM Indosuez Wealth Management has launched a new six-priority strategy, “Client at the Heart,” designed to strengthen its leadership position and establish itself as the most attractive bank for both clients and employees in Monaco, at a time of significant transformation across the wealth management sector.
At the core of the new approach is a more integrated advisory model, with the private banker positioned as a kind of conductor, bringing together the full range of expertise needed to deliver a personalised, holistic and international service tailored to each individual client. That ambition rests on a substantial Monaco-based platform, with more than 400 employees, including around 60 private bankers, a trading room staffed by 50 multilingual specialists, and a dedicated nine-person wealth engineering team, all backed by privileged access to the broader international expertise of Indosuez and Crédit Agricole, the world’s ninth-largest banking group.
The bank describes the strategy as offering one of the most comprehensive value propositions currently available in the market, combining the strengths of a full-service bank with those of a dedicated wealth management house, covering the full spectrum of family needs, from attention and expertise to genuinely bespoke support.
Six strategic priorities sit at the heart of the plan. The first, Client at the Heart itself, centres on delivering a more coordinated advisory model for both Monaco-based and international clients, addressing increasingly complex needs around wealth transfer, wealth governance and multi-jurisdictional structuring. The second, Technology Powered by Human Insight, reflects the bank’s view that technology and artificial intelligence have become standard tools of the profession, useful for sharpening analysis and optimising portfolios, while insisting that genuine differentiation still comes down to human judgement, listening skills and a finely tuned understanding of each client’s situation, framed as a human being enhanced by AI rather than replaced by it.
The third priority, The Strength of the Collective, points to a renewed leadership team with 62 percent women on the Executive Committee, alongside teams drawing on a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and experience, a diversity the bank considers a genuine asset in strengthening decision-making and improving advice. The fourth, The Only Listed Bank in Monaco’s Financial Centre, highlights CFM Indosuez’s status as the sole listed institution among the 25 banks operating in Monaco, a distinction the bank says demands an even higher standard of rigour, governance and financial transparency amid growing regulatory scrutiny.
The fifth priority, Strong Monegasque Roots, International Ambition, draws on the bank’s 104-year presence in the Principality and its deep understanding of a client base that includes prominent families, entrepreneurs and international clients, paired with the broader international reach provided through Indosuez and Crédit Agricole. The sixth and final priority, The Bank of Meaning, looks beyond pure financial performance, with the bank positioning itself to support major generational and societal shifts, including the significant intergenerational transfer of wealth now underway, the rise of Next Gen clients, and the growing influence of women within finance, priorities the bank says call for investments that carry genuine purpose and impact, not just growth.
Taken together, CFM Indosuez says the strategy is designed to make it a more personalised, more responsible and more sustainable wealth management bank, placing the client, quality advice and trust at the centre of everything it does.
The launch comes as CFM Indosuez was named Best Bank in the Principality by Global Finance for the tenth consecutive year in 2026, recognition the bank points to as a reflection of its long-term stability and strength.
