The Government announced on Tuesday evening that a resident has tested positive for coronavirus. The individual is being treated at home.
Two cases have been reported so far this week and two patients are in hospital in Monaco, neither in intensive care*. A total of six patients, showing limited symptoms, are currently being treated at a distance while self-isolating at home.
So far, a total of 118 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the Principality, but not all of them are resident, since the Princess Grace Hospital serves a wider area than Monaco itself. Of the total, 104 have so far fully recovered.
*PLEASE NOTE: We erroneously reported no new cases on Monday, whereas one person was reported to have tested positive. We had already ‘gone to press’ when this came to our attention.
