UPDATED 06:30, July 24: Two more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Monaco. One of them is resident in the Principality, the Government said on Thursday evening.

Of the two, one individual is in hospital for observation, while the other is being treated at home and being followed ‘at a distance.’ Seven others are also receiving medical support in a home setting.

A total of 114 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Monaco since the start of the outbreak, although not all of them have been residents. Of these, 100 have so far recovered fully.

A total of five people have tested positive during the current week.

Meanwhile, there is some concern in France as new infections topped 1,000, with 1,062 new cases were reported on Thurdsay, July 23. Ten deaths were reported in France and in Italy, with Spain registering three and the UK 53.
