HSH the Sovereign Prince, accompanied by a Monegasque delegation, visited Google’s Mountain View campus in California on Monday, February 3, to meet top officials of the company.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss possible areas of collaboration and how digital businesses can make a major contribution to the environmental challenges facing the planet today.
Google took the opportunity to announce that the company will offer full access to Google Play services in the Principality in the near future.
Frédéric Genta, interministerial delegate for digital transition, welcomed this progress: “We are impatient to offer Monegasques, residents and businesses the best digital solutions in the world. Access to the full catalog and options of Google Play has long been a demand of individuals and businesses. I am delighted that today we can provide a positive response to this request.”
Google Play has been a multimedia platform for the provision of games, films, applications, TV shows and books since 2012. Over two billion people around the world use it.
