A car park with capacity for 166 vehicles has opened in Beausoleil, relieving pressure on street parking.

In the centre of Moneghetti on ave. Paul-Doumer, the six-storey underground car park also boasts a shared area for growing vegetables on its roof. The project was masterminded by the principal of the Paul-Doumer School, Julien Sens-Olive.

Opening the car park on Saturday, December 14, Beausoleil Mayor Gerard Spinelli said that the facility will improve the quality of life of local residents and help local shops and businesses, while the communal garden will bring local people together, including the residents of a local old peoples’ home.
