One of the Principality’s most successful charity events runs, or walks, from Saturday, November 16 at 14:00, until Friday, November 23.

The organisers anticipate that more than 16,000 participants this year, although actual numbers will depend partly on the weather. Last year’s event attracted 15,600 registered participants and 432,670 kilometres were completed, at one euro per kilometre going to the Children & Future association.

Participants pay a registration fee of 12 euros, while 100 percent of the sponsorship goes to humanitarian projects in Monaco, in the Paca region and internationally. Many companies have entered teams – almost 300 in all – and SBM Offshore alone has 540 team members.

Five other cities have copied Monaco’s successful format, and soon Brussels and New York will join Nice, Bratislava, Paris, Athens and Oslo in holding their own No Finish Line.
