The president of the Nice Automobile Club and his wife have won Monaco Automobile Club’s fourth e-Rally.
The aptly named Monsieur and Madame Ozon won the title in their Tesla, having started their rallying careers in 2010.
The convivial Frederic Ozon praised his wife’s assistance in the closely-fought event, telling local French-language daily Monaco Matin: “She is my teammate and has never driven the car. We are a couple with children. Alors, one doesn’t want to take a risk. The rally, yes, but without risking one’s life!”
The couple praised the Automobile Club for its professionalism. “We were welcomed very warmly. The organisation is unparalleled.”
