The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) has unveiled the Designer Gallery, a newly reimagined space dedicated to showcasing the creativity and innovation behind modern yacht design.

The new gallery consolidates what was previously known as the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub into a single, unified platform, giving visitors a more direct way to engage with the designers shaping the future of the yachting industry. Rather than simply a rebrand, the change reflects a genuine shift in both focus and format, replacing the show’s previously divided exhibition zones with one continuous space where visitors can explore new design concepts and speak directly with the designers behind them.

Alongside the Designer Gallery, visitors will also be able to experience the MYS Immersive Experience by VBH, an interactive 3D installation developed in collaboration with participating designers and shipyards, allowing guests to virtually step aboard yacht projects and see designs brought to life. Nearby, SENSE by VBH offers a further 360-degree immersive experience, using technology to shape the sound, lighting and even scent of life on board a yacht.

Toby Moore, CEO of Informa Prestige, said design has always been a cornerstone of the Monaco Yacht Show, and that the event has continually evolved to give it the prominence it deserves. He explained that this year’s reimagined Designer Gallery takes the form of a wide, unified platform, partly set on the rocks of the port, designed to create a seamless, elevated experience for visitors. By positioning designers closer to the superyacht and tender docks in the Dockside area, and improving the overall quality of the exhibition structures, Moore said the show aims to showcase both the creative process behind yacht design and the finished designs themselves in the best possible setting.

This year’s Designer Gallery will bring together an impressive roster of world-renowned names in yacht design, offering visitors a window into where the industry is heading next. Confirmed participants include Argo Navis, Barracuda Yacht Design, Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, Cor D. Rover Design, Dixon Yacht Design, Espen Oeino International, Frers Design, Hoek Design Naval Architects, Hydro Tec, Lateral Naval Architects, Philippe Briand Ltd, Pininfarina, Van Oossanen Naval Architects, and VPLP Design.
