The Monte-Carlo Country Club’s traditional summer tournament concluded on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 12 with its finals, capping off two weeks of competition on the club’s clay courts.
The tournament proved a strong success, drawing 408 players from around the world for this year’s edition, a testament to the event’s growing international pull and its place as a fixture on the club’s summer calendar. Open to unranked players through those classified up to 15/1, the competition welcomed a wide range of participants across the skill spectrum, from complete newcomers to considerably more experienced amateur competitors.
The event also featured a broad set of age categories, including Seniors, +35, +45, +55, and even a +70 division, reflecting the tournament’s appeal across generations of players and its status as a genuinely community-wide gathering rather than a competition reserved for any single age group.
Beyond its famous role hosting the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters each spring, the club continues to run a full amateur and junior programme year-round, with tournaments like this one remaining a firm favourite on the local summer calendar.
