Monaco’s spectacular August fireworks display lit up the skies above Port Hercule on Friday evening, with hundreds gathering across the Principality to enjoy the annual pyrotechnic show….

The stunning display was launched from its traditional location in the harbour, however, some spectators chose a different viewpoint, watching from the recently reopened Exotic Garden.

The venue welcomed guests who had reserved tables at its new bar, offering panoramic views over Monaco as the fireworks illuminated the coastline. Many visitors were returning after the garden’s reopening earlier this summer, taking the opportunity to experience one of the Principality’s most striking vantage points.

The bar, which opened just three weeks ago, is operated by Ricardo da Silva Alves and Réy Rinaldi, the team behind the popular eatery at La Condamine Market. Its menu includes Japanese-style sandwiches, salads and light refreshments, and is open to both tourists and local residents.

The fireworks evening formed part of the Exotic Garden’s expanding programme of events following its reopening. Upcoming attractions include an aperitif concert on August 20 and a stand-up comedy evening hosted by Hassan of Monaco on August 28, as the venue continues to establish itself as a cultural and social destination as well as one of the Principality’s most celebrated visitor attractions.
