The Friends of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco celebrated their annual Summer Party this weekend by launching The Circle, a new corporate membership programme designed to encourage Monaco’s business community to play a more active role in protecting the world’s oceans…
Held on the museum’s spectacular rooftop terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, the event brought together supporters for an evening of family activities, children’s workshops and entertainment, despite threatening skies. The highlight was the unveiling of The Circle, which invites companies to support the museum’s mission through an annual membership.
Funds raised will help preserve the museum’s rich heritage, including the restoration of historic books, paintings and scientific equipment, whilst also supporting educational initiatives and aquariology research. In return, member companies will gain access to a range of exclusive experiences, from private events and team-building activities to behind-the-scenes opportunities unavailable to the public.
The launch comes as the Friends of the Oceanographic Museum celebrates its 15th anniversary. Founded in 2011, the association brings together people of all ages and backgrounds who share a commitment to ocean conservation.
Speaking on Monaco Info, representative of the Friends; Freya Danziger said the association’s message is simple: everyone can contribute to protecting the marine world. Whether through volunteering, donations or corporate support, every contribution helps fund projects that inspire future generations, advance scientific research and preserve one of Monaco’s most treasured institutions for years to come.
