The International German Club of Monaco is preparing to welcome members, guests and dignitaries to its annual Grand Gala on Wednesday, July 15, set to take place in the prestigious Salle Empire at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.

This year’s event will carry special significance as attendees mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Monaco and Germany. A commemorative toast is planned during the evening, celebrating decades of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The programme will also feature a Venetian-themed performance, adding a touch of spectacle to the celebrations, before guests take to the dance floor for an evening of live music and entertainment. A raffle offering a range of prizes will also form part of the festivities.

Among the distinguished guests expected to attend is German comedian, artist and entertainer Otto Waalkes. The popular performer is scheduled to sign a limited number of copies of his art books during the evening, giving attendees the opportunity to meet one of Germany’s best-known cultural figures.

Organisers say the gala is expected to be one of the highlights of Monaco’s summer social season, bringing together members of the German community, local residents and international guests for an evening celebrating culture, friendship and international ties.

Places remain available, and those wishing to attend can contact the International German Club of Monaco directly for registration details.
