His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco received Lucas Philippe, President of INTERPOL, for an official audience on Friday, May 15, in discussions focused on international security challenges and strengthened multilateral cooperation between policing organisations.
The meeting brought together senior members of INTERPOL’s leadership team, including Pierre Lieutaud, Prefect and Chief of Staff to the President, Camille Stephan, Chief of Staff at the INTERPOL Presidency, and Tessa Guild, Strategic Adviser. The Monegasque side was represented by Olivier Wenden, Director of the Prince’s Cabinet, alongside advisers Guillaume Pastor and Julie Donati.

Both sides underlined the importance of coordinated international action in responding to evolving global security threats, with particular emphasis on information sharing and operational cooperation between jurisdictions.
Prince Albert II reaffirmed the Principality’s continued commitment to international policing networks and multilateral frameworks aimed at combating organised and cross-border criminal activity.
The INTERPOL President praised Monaco’s consistent engagement in global security initiatives and highlighted the Prince’s longstanding support for strengthening international cooperation in justice, stability and law enforcement.
The audience forms part of Monaco’s broader diplomatic engagement with international security institutions, reflecting its role as a longstanding partner in global efforts to improve coordination against crime.
