The eighth edition of Monaco Art Week has officially begun, transforming the Principality into a vibrant showcase of artistic creation…
Launched on Monday April 27, the event offers a rich and varied programme spanning from Renaissance masterpieces to contemporary works, inviting the public to explore art across multiple disciplines and periods.
Founded in 2018 to unite galleries, auction houses and cultural institutions, Monaco Art Week continues to grow, with 14 participants this year presenting museum-quality pieces and curated exhibitions. Highlights include works by major figures such as Artemisia Gentileschi, alongside modern and contemporary artists including Picasso, Kandinsky and Giacometti. The event also provides a platform for private collections and upcoming sales, reinforcing Monaco’s role in the international art market.
Beyond exhibitions, the week features conferences, talks and live artistic performances, encouraging dialogue between collectors, institutions and the public. The circuit-style format allows visitors to move through different districts of the Principality, discovering galleries and auction houses open freely throughout the week.
Supported by international figures and diplomatic representatives, Monaco Art Week also underscores the importance of culture in fostering global connections. With its expanding scope and high-quality programming, the event confirms the Principality’s growing influence as a destination for art lovers and collectors alike.
