The 27th Language Immersion Forum brought together students, parents and education providers at the Auditorium Rainier III, offering a comprehensive overview of opportunities to learn languages abroad…

Organised by the Monaco Parents’ Association, the annual event continues to highlight the benefits of combining language acquisition with cultural discovery. With 11 organisations represented, attendees were able to explore a wide range of programmes, from short holiday courses to extended summer stays and even academic terms abroad. English-speaking destinations such as the UK and the United States remain popular, with programmes often combining classroom learning with activities including sport, theatre and cultural visits.

The forum also provided practical guidance, helping families identify the most suitable options based on age, goals and budget. Representatives from Monaco’s Department of Education, Youth and Sport were on hand to outline financial support available to students, with grants covering stays from one week to two months.

Open and accessible throughout the day, the event allowed families to engage directly with providers and make informed decisions about future study trips. By encouraging young people to experience life abroad, the forum reinforces the idea that language learning extends far beyond the classroom, offering valuable life skills alongside linguistic proficiency.
