The Roca Team continued their dominant run in the Betclic Elite on the evening of Sunday, January 25 with a convincing 98–73 victory away to Saint-Quentin, recording an eighth consecutive league win and preserving their unbeaten away record in domestic competition.
Despite the demands of a recent EuroLeague double-header, the AS Monaco Basket delivered a composed and authoritative performance in Picardy. Head coach Vassilis Spanoulis opted to rest Elie Okobo and Nikola Mirotic, while Yoan Makoundou remained unavailable, yet Monaco’s depth and cohesion were evident throughout.
The visitors set the tone early through Alpha Diallo, whose scoring from long range kept Monaco level in the opening moments before their defensive intensity began to tell.
