Two striking new vessels from Damen Yachting are en route to Monaco following their launch on August 20, destined for a single owner with ambitious plans for exploration and luxury travel. The pair, a 60-metre XPlorer named After You and a 53-metre Support Yacht dubbed Emotional, will make their public debut at next month’s Monaco Yacht Show.

Delivered as a complementary duo, the yachts embody two sides of modern yachting: high-luxury adventure and seamless support. After You, the first XPlorer 60 of its kind, is designed for global expeditions with a range of 5,000 nautical miles and compliance with IMO Polar Code standards, enabling safe operations from Arctic pack ice to tropical seas. Six spacious guest suites accommodate 12 guests, while a 786-square-foot owner’s suite takes pride of place on the main deck.

The vessel’s hybrid propulsion system allows for silent cruising at eight knots, cutting emissions and fuel use, while onboard amenities – from a helideck and observation lounge to a sauna, steam shower and 7,000-plus square feet of outdoor deck space – ensure comfort in all conditions. With the capacity to remain at sea for up to 30 days without port calls, After You offers both luxury and serious expedition capability, supported by extensive fuel, waste, and provisioning facilities.

Alongside her travels Emotional, a Damen YS 53 support yacht, carries additional toys, tenders, sports gear and up to 16 extra guests or crew, making her the ideal companion vessel for extended adventures. Her adaptable layout allows for custom features such as an elevated helipad, a 20-foot pool, or additional guest areas, depending on owner requirements.

Both yachts will also be available for charter during their owner’s planned circumnavigation, according to brokerage firm TWW, which handled the sale and management.

Damen Yachting, recognised as the pioneer of the explorer yacht category, has delivered over 20 dedicated support vessels in the past 14 years. The Dutch family-owned shipbuilder operates 35 shipyards worldwide and employs 12,000 specialists. Their latest creations continue a legacy of blending robust capability with high-end comfort, a combination likely to draw attention at the Monaco Yacht Show this September.
