Monaco’s government has unveiled plans for a new state-owned residential building as part of its ongoing National Housing Plan for Monegasques. The project, named “La Luciole”, will be constructed on the site of the former Villa Luciole, located at 5 rue Louis Auréglia.
Following a public tender published in the Journal de Monaco on ,September 13, 2024, the contract has been awarded to the joint venture between S.A.M. Michel Pastor Group (M.P.G.) and S.A.M. PROBAT.
The future development will rise across ten floors and comprise 27 apartments—26 one-bedroom flats (T2) and one larger five-room unit (T5). A private underground car park is also included in the plan. Completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2028.
The government has committed to strict environmental and architectural standards during construction and promises to minimise disruption to the neighbourhood. To ensure transparency and local engagement, regular information meetings will be held with nearby residents throughout the project.
