Over 180 senior residents gathered on Tuesday, April 8, for a joyful celebration to mark the arrival of spring at Monaco’s Espace Léo Ferré. Organised by the Seniors and Social Action Service, the lively afternoon brought together laughter, music, and community spirit in equal measure.
Hosted in collaboration with members of the Communal Council, including Camille Svara (Deputy Mayor for Social Affairs), Jacques Pastor, and Nathalie Vaccarezza, the event featured a variety of entertainment. Guests were treated to a rhythmic gymnastics display by World Class Gym, an elegant ballroom performance from Apollo Danse, and a live musical set courtesy of Monaco Art Music that kept the atmosphere vibrant and the dance floor full.
Attendees were also surprised with small gifts and a generous springtime goûter, turning the afternoon into a warm and festive affair. Local officials took the opportunity to express their appreciation for Monaco’s older citizens, highlighting the importance of such gatherings in fostering social connection and mental well-being.
With plenty of smiles, applause, and heartfelt thanks from attendees, the event served as a timely reminder of the value of community and the joy of shared celebration.
