The Rockin’ Peille charity concert returns in its biggest ever edition this year, as over 50 musicians and singers will perform together on stage to raise funds for the Monaco based Fondation Flavian dedicated to advancing research into peadiatric cancer.
Set in the Plateau de Saint Pancrace of the nearby French commune of Peille, about half an hour drive from the Principality, the site of the concert will open at 18:00 before the rocking and rolling begins at 21:00 on Saturday, June 1. Red Hot Chilli Pepper tribute band ‘Blood Sugar’ will be the first to perform.
Drinks and food will be available on site, with free parking 200 meters away, entry costs just 10 euros per person, with proceeds going to the very noble cause that is the Fondation Flavian.
The Monegasque foundation was set up by Denis Maccario, the father of Flavian, who lost his life to metastatic brain cancer in 2014 at the age of eight. Since its inception 10 years ago, the foundation has raised 853,000 euros for cancer research.
