Organised by the Monegasque Rugby Federation and AS Monaco Rugby, with the support of the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation, the event brought together men’s and women’s teams from Monaco and abroad in a competitive yet friendly atmosphere.
President of the Monegasque Rugby Federation, Princess Charlène officially kicked off the Elite Men’s tournament alongside Antoine Zeghdar, patron of the event and ambassador for her Foundation. The competition showcased the dynamic format of rugby sevens, combining speed, skill and teamwork across a full day of matches.
At the conclusion of the tournament, the Princely Couple presented the trophy to Seventise, who secured victory in the Elite Men’s final against UAE Shaheen with a score of 35–14.
The day also included a moving tribute to Christophe Dominici, the iconic French rugby player who passed away in 2020. His daughters, Kiara and Mya, presented individual awards in the presence of their mother, Loretta Denaro, and renowned commentator Matthieu Lartot, adding an emotional dimension to a memorable sporting occasion.
