Monaco will once again have a strong presence at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where global political and business leaders gather each year to debate major economic and social challenges…
Alongside the official programme, the Principality’s Attractiveness Unit will host a dedicated day of discussions on 21 January at Monaco House, aimed at promoting dialogue around sustainable growth and long-term economic models.
The choice of Davos is strategic, offering access to an international audience of decision-makers at a time when geopolitical and economic uncertainty is reshaping investment priorities. Organisers see the forum as a valuable space to exchange ideas, benchmark policies, and highlight Monaco’s approach to economic stability, governance and innovation within a highly competitive global landscape.
This year’s programme will feature 24 international speakers across more than a dozen sessions running from morning to evening, focusing on business models, governance, regulatory pressures and strategic adaptation. A strong emphasis will be placed on maritime industries, reflecting Monaco’s leadership in yachting, port development and ocean sustainability. Two dedicated panels will examine how the sector is adapting to environmental regulations and technological transformation, bringing together industrial leaders, port authorities and naval architects working on next-generation projects.
The day will also provide a platform for senior figures from Monaco’s government and financial sector to outline the Principality’s economic framework and regulatory environment, reinforcing its positioning as a stable, innovation-friendly jurisdiction. By combining international expertise with local leadership, Monaco’s delegation aims to strengthen connections with global partners while showcasing how the Monegasque model continues to evolve in response to global challenges.
