Construction is progressing rapidly on the new Monaco-themed district at Europa-Park, set to become the German amusement park’s 18th themed area…
As the park prepares to reopen for the 2026 season on March 28, with around seven million visitors expected this year, anticipation is building around one of its most ambitious expansions to date.
Located in Rust, near the French border, Europa-Park has already unveiled a preview space offering visitors a first look at the future district. The project centres on a complete transformation of the iconic Silver Star Hall, reimagined to capture the spirit of the Principality. Whilst Formula 1 and the legendary Monaco Grand Prix provide the driving inspiration, the concept goes far beyond motorsport.

Designers aim to recreate Monaco’s unique blend of speed, elegance and Mediterranean lifestyle. Early visuals reveal stylised streets reminiscent of Monte-Carlo, architectural nods to the Casino, and marina-inspired scenery evoking the Riviera atmosphere. A standout feature will be the display of vehicles from HSH Prince Albert II’s personal collection, adding authenticity and underlining the close relationship between the Princely family and the Mack family, founders of Europa-Park.
That bond was highlighted during the park’s 50th anniversary celebrations last summer, attended by members of the Princely family.
Once completed in 2026, the Monaco district is expected to become a flagship attraction, offering visitors an immersive journey into the glamour, heritage and high-octane energy of the Principality.
