Under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, the 69th edition of the Bal de la Rose transformed the Salle des Étoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo into a radiant celebration on the evening of Saturday, March 29. This iconic charity gala, synonymous with glamour and generosity, welcomed Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène, alongside Her Royal Highness Princess of Hanover and her children, for an unforgettable evening.
As President of the Princess Grace Foundation, HRH Princess of Hanover once again entrusted the artistic direction to Christian Louboutin, who curated a dazzling Caribbean-inspired spectacle under the theme “The Sunset Ball.” Against a backdrop of lush tropical forests, vibrant roses, and exotic flowers, guests were immersed in a visual and sensory feast that evoked the warmth and energy of the Caribbean.
A stellar lineup of performers brought the evening to life with captivating music and dance. Renowned Andalusian choreographer Blanca Li, the legendary British Ebony Steel Band, the all-female Guadeloupean collective Kozéika Panam, and Ethnick’97, ambassadors of the Antillean-Guyanese carnival, delivered electrifying performances. The celebration continued late into the night with an entrancing DJ set by Carla Genus, culminating in a spectacular finale by EARTH, WIND & FIRE Experience by Al McKay.
More than just an evening of splendour, the Bal de la Rose remains a pillar of Monaco’s philanthropic tradition, raising funds for the Princess Grace Foundation. Since its inception in 1954, the gala has upheld a legacy of elegance and charity, ensuring that its impact extends far beyond the ballroom.
