With just weeks to go before the grand opening of the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan, Monaco’s delegation is gearing up for an immersive six-month experience showcasing the Principality’s vision for the future…
Running from April 13 to October 13, the expo will bring together nations from around the world under the theme of designing future societies and imagining life in the decades to come.
A team of 13 young representatives from Monaco has been meticulously preparing for their roles at the Monegasque pavilion, where they will be responsible for a range of duties, including public relations, technical maintenance, and communication. Speaking to Monaco Info, members of the delegation expressed their excitement for the opportunity, highlighting the invaluable experience they will gain while representing Monaco on an international stage.
One delegate shared their role in managing public relations, which includes welcoming high-profile international and Monegasque delegations, as well as coordinating visits to other national pavilions. Another member will be responsible for the pavilion’s technical maintenance and assisting with communication efforts, ensuring smooth daily operations.
For some participants, this is a unique personal and professional adventure. One delegate, inspired by a friend’s experience at the Dubai Expo, sees Osaka 2025 as a rare opportunity to immerse in a new culture while contributing to Monaco’s global presence. Another is set to share this experience with their sibling, adding a family dimension to the journey.
As they prepare to depart for Japan on April 1, the team is eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead, reinforcing Monaco’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation at this prestigious global event.
