MonacoTech, the Principality’s leading startup incubator founded in collaboration with the Monegasque State and entrepreneur Xavier Niel, is in the process of selecting its latest batch of innovative companies…
Since its establishment in 2017, MonacoTech has supported over 50 startups, currently housing 21, which together have created 120 jobs, with half based in Monaco. This year, the incubator launched a call for projects, attracting 65 applications.
Six promising startups advanced to the final stage: presenting their concepts to a jury that includes Monaco representatives, a National Council member, and external professionals. The jury prioritizes projects that offer practical technological solutions to improve daily life, either locally or internationally, while maintaining a connection to Monaco.
MonacoTech focuses on sectors such as blue tech, green tech, and deep tech. Among this year’s candidates is Whisper, a company specializing in electric foil boats that reduce energy consumption by up to three times and operate entirely on electricity. The innovations presented showcase Monaco’s ambition to promote sustainable and cutting-edge technologies with global reach.
The selected startups will benefit from MonacoTech’s comprehensive support, including mentorship, strategic advice, and funding opportunities, all housed in an 800-square-meter facility in Fontvieille. Final decisions will be announced in the coming weeks, with successful startups beginning their incubation in March, reinforcing MonacoTech’s role as a hub for entrepreneurial excellence.
