AS Monaco is proud to announce the signing of Mika Biereth, the prolific Danish striker who joins the club on a five-year contract, running through June 30, 2029. Biereth, who turns 22 on February 8, arrives after a stellar run with SK Sturm Graz, where he currently leads the Austrian Bundesliga scoring charts with 11 goals in 16 matches.

Born in London on February 8, 2003, Biereth is of Danish and Bosnian descent. Standing at 1.87 meters, he began his football journey at Fulham, making an immediate impact with 25 goals and 15 assists in 37 matches for the U18 squad. This success earned him a move to Arsenal in 2021, where he signed his first professional contract and shone in youth competitions, contributing 12 goals and five assists in over 20 U21 matches.

Biereth gained valuable professional experience through loan stints. He debuted in the Eredivisie with RKC Waalwijk during the 2022-23 season and later joined Motherwell FC in the Scottish Premiership, where he scored six goals and registered five assists in just 15 matches. In January 2024, he moved to Austrian side SK Sturm Graz, a transfer that became permanent the following summer.

At Sturm Graz, Biereth emerged as a key player, netting 23 goals and assisting nine in 47 appearances. His contributions were pivotal in the club’s historic domestic double, securing the Austrian Bundesliga title and the Austrian Cup for the first time since 2011.

Biereth carried his impressive form into the current 2024-25 season, tallying 11 goals and five assists in 16 league matches, including a hat-trick against RB Salzburg. On the European stage, he debuted in the UEFA Champions League, finding the net against Lille OSC and Girona FC.

Now wearing Monaco’s iconic red and white diagonal jersey with the number 14, Biereth brings his exceptional goal-scoring ability and dynamic play style to the Monegasque attack. The club looks forward to seeing him make an impact at the Stade Louis-II as part of Monaco’s ambitions in Ligue 1 and European competition.
