Monaco’s Post Office has introduced a state-of-the-art goods reception center within the Salines car park, aiming to streamline parcel deliveries and alleviate congestion in the city centre…

The facility, located on Boulevard du Jardin Exotique, represents a significant step forward in efficiency and sustainability, with operations powered entirely by electric vehicles.

Designed to handle up to 2,500 parcels daily with 14 dedicated delivery drivers, this platform not only enhances logistics but also reduces traffic in Monaco’s busy streets. The initiative follows a “win-win-win” approach: delivery operators benefit from reduced travel time and costs, La Poste de Monaco optimizes its distribution flow, and the Principality gains a greener, less congested urban environment.

From December 15, customers can conveniently pick up or send parcels directly from the centre. Equipped with lockers and staffed counters open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., the facility offers increased flexibility for residents and businesses alike. “It’s a much-needed service that provides convenience and efficiency while contributing to environmental sustainability,” said a La Poste representative.

This development is a precursor to an even larger project: the opening of a new centralized sorting hub at Pasteur Island in April 2025. The facility will unite all postal services under one roof, further enhancing operations and improving the daily lives of Monaco’s residents and post office employees.

With these advancements, Monaco’s Post Office is setting a benchmark in modern, eco-friendly logistics while reaffirming its commitment to serving the Principality with excellence.
