A delegation from Monaco’s Town Hall is in Strasbourg this week to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Monaco’s accession to the Council of Europe. The delegation includes Deputy Mayor Marjorie Crovetto, Vice-President of Monaco’s delegation to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, along with Jacques Pastor, Deputy Mayor and Crovetto’s alternate at the Chamber of Regions, and Nada Lorenzi, Municipal Councillor.

The delegation will participate in events until Thursday, October 3rd, marking this important milestone. Highlights include a speech by HSH Prince Albert on Wednesday, October 2 and the unveiling of an art piece by Mr. OneTeas, to which the three representatives contributed.

Monaco’s Mayor, Georges Marsan, along with Crovetto, Pastor, and Lorenzi, frequently attend sessions at the Council of Europe to discuss various topics at the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities. The Council has also recognised several Monaco City Hall initiatives, such as “Monaco Zero Cigarette Butt,” “A Birth, A Tree,” and the “Mùnegu Repair Café,” in the third volume of its Human Rights and Environment manual.
