6th Monaco Art Week – Exhibitions
Galleries, auction houses and art lovers are joining forces to offer a series of exhibitions across the Principality, punctuated by events, meetings with artists and conferences. Sculpture, painting, fine jewellery and other forms of creation will all be on show. Explore a dynamic and diverse cultural scene and browse through different artistic periods during this Monegasque art week. 2D Ocean Space Forum – Environment
Following the success of the first edition in 2023, the Monaco Office for Outer Space Affairs, the French Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES), and Prométhée Earth Intelligence are hosting the second Ocean Space Forum at the prestigious Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. Once again, the event will bring together leading figures from the worlds of research, politics, and business, to highlight how New Space tech is helping to promote sustainable management of our most precious resource: the ocean. The 2024 OSF will mark a major milestone in the leadup to the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference, hosted jointly by the governments of France and Costa Rica in Nice from 9 to 14 June 2025, which will be key to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Dumani Iseme – Concert
For this opening night of the 2024 season at Fort Antoine Theatre, you are cordially invited to a “Corsican Evening” to celebrate the summer! Ingeborg zu Schleswig-Holstein: And There Was Light – Exhibition
Moretti Fine Art in collaboration with Julian Solms propose a dialogue between Ingeborg zu Schleswig-Holstein’s incandescent, chromatically charged abstract compositions and the gold ground works of the masters Simone dei Crocifissi, Barnaba da Modena, and Arrigo di Niccolò. A part of the proceeds of this exhibition will be donated to AMADE worldwide association under the patronage of H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover. For over 15 years, this essential event has been bringing the world’s top riders to the Principality, nestled below the ramparts of the Prince’s Palace. The Future of the Art Market – Conference
Organised by renowned Swiss auctioneer, art dealer and curator Simon de Pury the conference will bring together two personalities from across the Atlantic, visual artist and digital content creator Hilde Lynn Helphenstein, known as Jerry Gogosian, and artist, writer and lecturer Kenny Schachter. A new collection of books in Monaco – Conference
The Pavillon Bosio presents its new collection of books devoted entirely to the subject of scenography. The first volume, devoted to scale models, was published in November 2023 (edited by Mathilde Roman and Thierry Leviez). The second, “The display of fashion”, will be published in spring 2025. This collection is being developed in partnership with the publishing house Manuella and distributed by Les Belles Lettres. Presented by Thierry Leviez, director of the Pavillon Bosio and Sandrine Perrin, Head of studies and research at Pavillon Bosio. U Sciaratu – Summer Carnival
This year’s carnival theme is “Pirates and Princesses”, with shows, activities, face-painting, tattooing, balloon artists, giant bubbles, street parades, and stalls selling granita and candy floss. Following in the tradition of previous years, the day of fun and celebrations will end with a Grand Ball by a DJ, families can dance on the Place de la Mairie from 22:00. Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Experience – La Note Bleue Summer Festival
Dele Sosimi, the Nigerian-British Afrobeat Ambassador, Musician and Educator. Having started his musical career with Fela’s Egypt 80 band in his teens, he then teamed up with childhood friend Fela’s son Femi Kuti (back in the late eighties) to kick start the Positive Force – touring, recording and performing worldwide. Over forty years later, he remains a tireless ambassador of this unique Nigerian sound travelling the world and performing at countless festivals. Afrobeat royalty in the house!

artmonte-carlo – Exhibition
The art salon will host 27 leading international galleries of modern and contemporary art in an elegant atmosphere and meticulous scenography and will showcase over 200 artists. The eighth edition of artmonte-carlo will be held on Saturday, July 6 from 14:00 to 18:00 and Sunday, July 7 from 14:00 to 20:00 at Monaco’s Grimaldi Forum, under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert. TURNER, the Sublime Legacy Exhibition
The Grimaldi Forum Monaco, in collaboration with Tate, will unveil the exhibition-event Turner, the Sublime Legacy. This exhibition, featuring an ensemble of first-rate works in a new scenography of over 2,000 square meters, is an invitation to a journey through Joseph Mallord William Turner’s representations of the world in a sublime mode, from his landscapes to the elementary explorations of light and atmosphere of which he was a pioneer and master. Turner’s decisive influence on painting, and by extension his legacy, will be highlighted in the exhibition through some interpretations of the sublime by leading contemporary artists such as, among others, Richard Long, Olafur Eliasson, Cornelia Parker, Jessica Warboys, John Akomfrah, Katie Paterson, and Mark Rothko. The exhibition is curated by Elizabeth Brooke, Senior Project Curator at Tate. This exhibition is organized in collaboration with Tate, with the support of CMB Monaco, SOTHEBY’S and MARZOCCO GROUP. Stars 80 – Fight Aids Monaco Night – Monte-Carlo Summer Festival 2024
The ambassador of Fight Aids Monaco this summer will be Stars 80, performing at the Salle des Étoiles as part of their Encore! tour. The 80s stars will be supporting the charity Fight Aids Monaco, this year marking its twentieth anniversary. Founded by H.S.H. Princess Stephanie in 2004, Fight Aids Monaco is a non-profit NGO that works in Monaco, the Provence-Alps-Côte d’Azur region, and around the world through international cooperation initiatives. Turner, the Sublime Legacy – Activities for Children
As every summer, the Grimaldi Forum is hosting two weeks of activities dedicated to younger visitors. This year, the workshops are all about the Forum’s latest landmark exhibition “Turner, the Sublime Legacy”! Children aged 5 to 12 can experience the world of J.M.W. Turner with the educational workshops, learning all about a variety of artistic themes closely associated with the English painter, getting their creative juices flowing and allowing them to express themselves with a range of art-based activities. Miquel Barceló, Oceanographer – Exhibition
Featuring a selection of around sixty works (paintings, ceramics, embroidery, works on paper), this exhibition is a chance to discover the prolific and eclectic creations of Miquel Barceló, a Spanish artist whose favourite subject was the sea. Pasolini in Chiaroscuro – Exhibition
Pier Paolo Pasolini, perhaps the last European intellectual to have gained worldwide renown. He is considered one of the defining public intellectuals in 20th-century Italian history, influential both as an artist and a political figure. A half-century on from his death, his influence can still be felt across the different fields in which he worked: he is read, commented on, adapted, and inspires contemporary creative artists. While he preferred to describe himself as a writer, it was his films that brought him to the public’s attention. The exhibition looks at his inspirations and his legacy. Art in Motion – Helmet Exhibition
Monaco takes center stage as it hosts the finale of the 2024 Tour de France. To mark this occasion, come and discover the Art Helmet Collection. House of Helmet elevates the safety accessory to the status of an artwork through collaborations with artists from Switzerland and the Riviera. The “Art in Motion” collection covers a wide range of styles, from illustration to abstraction. These unique pieces are beautiful transitions to each universe with the exhibition of paintings by the same artists: a captivating immersion of artistic styles revealing the creativity of these talents. This year, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the famous cellars beneath the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo! These hidden jewels beneath the very foundations of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo are the quintessence of refinement and exclusiveness. Lascaux à Monaco – Exposition
Original objects from the Lascaux cave exhibited on loan from the National Museum of Prehistory (Les Eyzies, Dordogne) and the Institute of Human Paleontology (Paris) and also hyper-realistic reconstructions of 5 Cro-Magnons by Elisabeth Daynes, a 1/10 scale model of the Lascaux cave with prehistoric paintings and lighting, and interactive tables and low-tech manipulatives. An original scenography organized around facsimiles and an immersive experience in Virtual Reality thanks to the #SPL LASCAUX, exclusively thanks to the Museum Partners. The Prince and the Mediterranean – Exhibition
As part of commemorations marking the centenary of Prince Rainier III (1923-2023), the Oceanographic Museum presents its new permanent exhibition, “The Prince and the Mediterranean”. Visitors to the exhibition, the Oceanographic Institute’s tribute to the unshakeable connection between Princer Rainier III and the ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea in particular, will step aboard his ship, Deo Juvante II. Guided by the voice of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, they will navigate through four fascinating spaces, each exploring a different facet of the Prince and his passion for all things aquatic. Polar Mission – Exhibition

The Early Days of Télé Monte-Carlo, 1954-1974 – Exhibition
The Cabinet of Curiosities – “The Early Days of Télé Monte-Carlo, 1954-1974” – An exhibition looking at the first 20 years of Monaco’s TV channel launched in 1954. A selection of archives and objects will take you back in time, to the very earliest days of colour television. Organised by the Audiovisual Institute of Monaco, the exhibition features items entrusted by Télé Monte-Carlo for safekeeping, documents from partner institutions, and materials kindly loaned by private individuals.
