On Wednesday, June 26, the Embassy of Monaco in France hosted a reception in Paris to mark the 19th anniversary of HSH Prince Albert’s accession. The event saw Mrs. Valérie Bruell-Melchior welcoming an array of distinguished guests, including French ministers, senior officials, and representatives from the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, as well as the Apostolic Nuncio, numerous ambassadors, and representatives of international organisations.

During her address, Ambassador Bruell-Melchior highlighted the strong ties that lie between the Principality and France, emphasising Prince Albert’s commitment to aligning Monaco with the principles of the United Nations Charter.

The ambassador also noted the significance of the Olympic Flame’s visit to Monaco on Tuesday, June 18, underscoring the nation’s dedication to sport, particularly ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Bruell-Melchior concluded by addressing environmental issues, and announced the 3rd High-level Conference on Oceans to be held in Nice by 2025.
