The Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group has partnered with Crystal, a specialist in luxury cruises, to launch the first casino at sea under the Casino de Monte-Carlo brand by the end of 2024. This marks Monte-Carlo SBM’s first international venture into gaming, extending its 160-year legacy of high-stakes entertainment beyond the Principality.
An agreement between the two groups was signed on Thursday, June 20 in the Monte-Carlo Casino by Pascal Camia, Chief International Development Officer of Monte-Carlo SBM, and Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group, in the presence of Stéphane Valeri, Chairman and CEO of Monte-Carlo SBM, and the Executive Chairman of A&K Travel Groupl, Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio.
This collaboration aims to redefine onboard entertainment by bringing the renowned Monte-Carlo gaming experience to Crystal cruise passengers. The first Casino de Monte-Carlo on the sea will be launched on November 14, 2024, aboard the Crystal Symphony departing from Venice.
Blackjack, Three Cards Poker, Texas Hold’Em Ultimate, and American Roulette will be deployed on the Symphony, with the Crystal Serenity expected to boast the same from December this year.
Monte-Carlo SBM will provide its extensive expertise in gaming, while Crystal will manage the casino operations. Meanwhile, the implementation and transmission of the Casino de Monte-Carlo’s renowned gaming codes and experience will be overseen by the Casino de Monte-Carlo teams.
