On Wednesday, June 19, the prestigious ‘Cœur Central’ event, attended by HSH Prince Albert and HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover, raised tens of thousands of euros for charity at the Monte-Carlo Country Club.

Traditionally held in the Roland-Garros stadium, this third edition of the gala dinner was hosted by the Monegasque and French Tennis Federations, marking its debut at the iconic Rainier-III clay court.

Melanie-Antoinette de Massy, president of the Monegasque Tennis Federation and the Monte-Carlo Country Club, expressed her delight, stating that “I am convinced that it will be an exceptional evening… one that will be etched in people’s memories.”

Ahead of musical entertainment courtesy of Michael Jones and Marion Capuano, an exclusive auction was held during the gourmet dinner for 200 guests, featuring lots such as racquets from Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner, artworks, and VIP seats for the next Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters finals and semi-finals.

The exciting items garnered big bids, which translate to hefty donations to two deserving charities; Terre d’Impact, the French Tennis Federation’s endowment fund dedicated to utilising tennis for social inclusion and responsibility among underprivileged populations, and GEMLUC, a Monegasque charity funding cancer research.
