HSH Prince Albert was present at the tribute of the Roserie Princesse Grace in Fontvieille, which celebrates its 40 year anniversary in 2024.
The Rose Garden was inaugurated in 1984, two years after the passing of Princess Grace, who was a great enthusiast of roses. Monaco Minister of Environment and Infrastructure Céline Caron-Dagioni said “the rose garden is not only an important part of our history, but also an emotional heritage for the entire Principality and for all Monegasques, whose attachment to our Princes and Princess Grace is well known.”
On the occasion of this tribute, Prince Albert took part in the gardening workshop and tasted sweets made with rose petals, before taking in the photographic exhibition, which traces the history of this meaningful garden.
