Monacollecte returns in its third edition on Friday, February 16, and Saturday, February 17, and will take its place on Port Hercule’s Quai Antoine 1er for the first time in 2024.
The two-day event dedicated to the ‘Three R’s’ of environmentalism is organised by the Monegasque Sanitation Company (SMA) and the Department of Urban Amenities, in partnership with the Prince’s Government and the Monaco Town Hall, and under the high patronage of HSH Prince Albert.
All are invited to bring household waste for proper disposal, or other reusable but no longer wanted items for donation to the associations involved, such as the Monaco Red Cross and Mission Enfance Monaco.
Reusable items such as articles of clothing, school supplies and small household appliances are greatly appreciated, provided that they are donated in clean and working condition.
Alongside the collecting and proper disposal of waste will be free educational events, exhibitions and interactive activities. Monacollecte will be open to the public from 10:00 until 19:00 on Friday and Saturday.
