HSH Prince Albert was among the first European sovereigns to send a message of support to Britain’s King Charles, following the announcement that the UK monarch is being treated for cancer.
“Your Majesty, In these difficult times, my entire family would like to express our full support to you. Your determination, your courage and your frankness have always been a source of inspiration. I am convinced that you will demonstrate the same bravery in this ordeal. My family and the people of Monaco join me in sending you, the Royal Family and your loved ones our warmest thoughts and prayers,” Prince Albert said.
The Prince and the British monarch have long enjoyed a close personal relationship.
