A week after Coface’s famous Country Risk Conference, held every year in Paris, don’t miss the analysis of its Chief Economist Jean-Christophe Caffet, the Monaco Economic Board tells its members. “This will be an opportunity to gain better control over and optimise your international development,” MEB said.

The Monaco Economic Board would particularly like to thank its two loyal sponsors of this conference: Banque Populaire Méditerranée, a key player in the Principality and on the Côte d’Azur, and Gramaglia, the Monegasque and regional specialist and leader in credit insurance.

A graduate of the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) and the Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne, Jean-Christophe Caffet began his career in the banking sector in 2005. He spent nine years with the Natixis / BPCE group as an economist specialising in France and the eurozone. In 2014, he joined the TotalEnergies group and became part of the Strategy and Economic Intelligence Department as deputy chief economist, which enabled him to become an expert in energy markets while continuing in the production of macroeconomic forecasts. In 2019, he became Chief Economist of the TotalEnergies group. He has been Coface’s Chief Economist since November 2022.
