Valérie Bruell-Melchior has been appointed Monaco’s new Ambassador in France by a decree of the Sovereign, announced on Friday, October 27.
She was previously serving as Counsellor at the Embassy in Paris. Valérie Bruell-Melchior holds a master’s degree in international and public affairs from Columbia University and is a specialist in international relations.
She first worked at the United Nations in the mid-1990s and in 2001 was appointed First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of the Principality to the UN.
