A one-day rail strike by four unions will result in only two TER trains out of five serving Monaco Monte-Carlo on Wednesday, July 6.
A message on the website of French train operator SNCF advisers people not to travel and to work from home.
The nationwide strike started in effect on Tuesday evening and will have a knock-on effect into Thursday, again affecting the morning commute. Approach roads to Monaco are expected to be even more congested than usual.
