During the most recent meeting of the AMAF Bureau (Monaco Association of Financial Activities) on May 24, Mr. Etienne Franzi, President, welcomed Frédéric Genta, Interministerial Delegate for Attractiveness and Digital Transition.
“Monaco as a financial centre is a major asset of attractiveness for the Principality. Its expertise and excellence, particularly in Private Wealth, are two essential strengths for our country,” he said at the start of the meeting.
In a very competitive context concerning financial markets European (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Great Britain) and international (Dubai, Singapore), strengthening the attractiveness of Monaco as a financial centre appears to be a priority, to promote the Principality’s expertise, and its ability to welcome residents, investors and high value-added companies.
President Franzi after a lively discussion, concluded on the need to accelerate the legislative and regulatory process concerning finance and company law, for a better reception of future resident entrepreneurs. The project of a conference on “Digitalisation and Wealth Management” was mentioned with interest.
