The META ENTERTAINMENT WORLD gathering in Monaco on May 23 and 24 seems to have set the virtual world on fire with its outstanding success as a meeting place for meta-minded global leaders.

Tony Hollingsworth, this media and communication professional who produced the media campaign repositioning Nelson Mandela as a leader (600 million people affected…), or raising funds of more than 21 million for charitable causes, is still amazed.

“The META ENTERTAINMENT WORLD in Monaco brought more clarity to this very new virtual universe that is the Metaverse, and web 3.0. I met a large number of experts there who anticipate the future, and are already building it. I will definitely be back next year!”

His enthusiasm confirms the interest of high-level professionals for a world they do not fully master. In Monaco, they found answers. After the welcome speeches by the Deputy Director General of the Monaco Economic Board, Justin Highman, an extremely rich program explored all the facets of Metaverse: its relationship to innovation in many areas (e-sport, gaming, fashion, real-estate, events…), its monetisation, its regulation, its role in future Smart Cities…and in art of course!

Stars of the Netflix hit The Tinder Swindler, Cecilie Fjellhøy, Ayleen Charlotte and Pernilla Sjöholm

Dozens of international experts followed one another, representing the most advanced companies in the sector: Yvan Touhami and Laurent Montrozier, brilliant creators of the company ORBIS, incubated by LVMH; Mickael Holdmann, at the head of PRASAGA, international leader in blockchain and its applications; Professor Darren Thayre, head of innovation at GOOGLE, …and many others.

Apart from many from across the world, two delegates attended from Ukraine.

Frédéric Genta, Interministerial Delegate for Attractiveness and Digital Transition in Monaco, confirmed the Principality’s involvement in a digital world with high added value. This great interest makes it possible to better understand the position of JP Morgan, the first bank to embark on the Metaverse. “We are not here to suggest that the Metaverse, as we know it today, will take over all human interactions, but rather to explore the many exciting opportunities it offers consumers and brands.”

For his part, Mitch Lowe, co-founder of Netflix, feels the same excitement with the META as when Netflix was born.

Steven Saltzman, co-founder of META ENTERTAINMENT WORLD, validates the projections of JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs: The metaverse market could be worth three trillion dollars…

Following the event, he told NEWS.MC: “Meeting the tech and content CEOs that gathered in Monaco from as far away as Australia and New Zealand, USA and China and seeing the use cases and strategies of brands such as Ferrari, I can confirm with confidence that Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Citbank’s projections for the Metaverse are if anything on the low end and we are on the cusp of a huge paradigm shift similar to when TV went from black and white to colour.”

The Gala was sponsored by Authentium and Algorand blockchain from Australia for promoting sustainable agriculture.
