Harold and Maude

The Princess Grace Theatre presents a screening, in partnership with the Monaco Audiovisual Institute, of the 1971 film titled ‘Harold and Maude’. The film focusses on an unlikely friendship between a young boy and an older lady.

The film will be screened in its original version of English with French subtitles from 20:00 at the Princess Grace Theatre on Tuesday, February 15.

Commemoration of Albert I – an OPMC happy hour concert

The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra presents a ‘Commemoration of Albert I’ happy hour concert, featuring the works of Gabriel Fauré and Camille Saint-Saëns performed by various artists with string, piano and trumpet instruments.

The concert will commence at 18:30 in the Auditorium Rainier III on Thursday, February 17.

Francesco Piemontesi – an OPMC recital

The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra returns this week with a recital dedicated to pianist Francesco Piemontesi, who will perform the works of Bach, Lachenmann and Schubert.

Wether

The Monte-Carlo Opera presents four performances of Jules Massenet’s masterpiece, ‘Wether’, the first of which will be from 15:00 in the Salle Garnier of the Monte-Carlo Opera on Sunday, February 20.

‘Wether’ is a lyrical drama in four acts, which will feature the voices of the Children’s Choir of the Rainier III Music Academy and the music of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Jazzy Evenings at the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo

The Hotel Metropole invites guests to spend the evening enjoying bespoke cocktails to the sound of two special guest artists, singer Joanna Abbinanti and pianist Olivier Slama.

Abbinanti and Slama will fill the hotel’s bar with blues, jazz and soul music, from 19:00 until 23:00 on February 23 and 24.
