The Monegasque health authorities announced late on Sunday night that one resident has died from coronavirus. The Government extended its heartfelt sympathies to the family of the deceased, who was 97 years old. According to the Government, 37 Monaco residents have died from coronavirus since the start of the pandemic almost two years ago.
There were 20 new cases on Sunday and 28 full recoveries.
There are currently 18 people being treated for coronavirus at Princess Grace Hospital. Eight of them are residents and two of the residents are in intensive care.
The total number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home has risen to 260.
