The Fiat 500 Monte-Carlo Club is holding its third end-of-summer cavalcade, which has become an unmissable end-of-season event in the Principality.
Departure is scheduled for Sunday, September 19 at 09:00 from Place de la Mairie on the Rock with the traditional Monegasque flag send-off by George Marsan, Mayor of Monaco.
After the parade of cars through the Place du Palais and the Place du Casino, the convoy, escorted by the motorcycles of the 500 Club and the Maggioni Moto Club of Dolceacqua, will take the coastal road towards Italy to reach, by an exceptionally panoramic route, as a first step, the Municipality of Dolceacqua and its medieval castle that all participants will have the pleasure of visiting, the organisers said.
“As every year, in addition to the pleasure of getting together with our small cars and sharing pleasant moments with all enthusiasts, we not only combine the discovery of the region’s gastronomic and oenological specialties, but also a few moments of intellectual enrichment, and I would like to thank the mayor of Dolceacqua for the opportunity given to us to open the doors to their 12th-century castle,” said Massimo Peleson, President of the Fiat 500 Monte-Carlo club.
True to the global motto of vintage Fiat 500s, “Slow Drive – Slow Food”, the drivers will gently resume their journey o finish the third end of summer drive by tasting the specialties of the restaurant “Rio Barbaira” in Rocchetta Nervina where the Mayor, Claudio Basso, will welcome the crews in Piazza UCian for a welcome toast.
