The benchmark infection rate for coronavirus in Monaco fell to 62.58 per 100,000 based on tests carried out on residents and non-residents to Sunday, April 18. The rate seven days previously was 121.05.

On Monday five residents tested positive for coronavirus, while 12 residents were declared fully-recovered.

Only two Monaco residents are in hospital with coronavirus symptom, neither of them in intensive care. Thirteen patients from the catchment area surrounding the Principality are receiving inpatient treatment at Princess Grace Hospital, five of them in intensive care.

The number of residents suffering from mild symptoms and recovering at home has fallen again, to 29.
