Four new cases of coronavirus were notified each day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while the total number of recoveries over the three-day period was 24.

Excellent news was also provided by the hospital figures. There are now no Monaco residents in intensive care and only three residents in hospital with coronavirus.

In the meantime, the number of residents recovering at home with mild symptoms has fallen to 30.

On Thursday the Monaco Government relaxed the rules concerning the curfew. Restaurants can now remain open until 21:30 and diners have until 22:00 to make it home.

There is also good news from the neighbouring Alpes-Maritimes, where the benchmark infection rate per 100,000 population has fallen to 229. In Monaco the rate is now 121.
