As the summer season slowly approaches, parents are increasingly becoming tasked with making holiday plans for their entire clan. With this in mind, Outward Bound Monaco still have a few places remaining on their highly recommendable summer courses to dedicated Outward Bound centres in the UK.
For those not yet in the know, Outward Bound is an international network of outdoor education organisations founded in the UK in 1941. Since its inception, Outward Bound has developed in over 35 countries, helping millions of children in the process.
Designed for those between the ages of 10 and 17, the Outward Bound programme can not only enhance life skills, but enhance CVs and, for some, improve English language skills as well.
Places remain for Outward Bound Monaco courses between July 22 and August 9. Children will be escorted through Nice airport and onto one of the UK Outward Bound centres, situated in scenic locations such as the Lake District. Be it climbing, hiking or team building, there is an activity that will make an adventurer out of anyone.
Those who achieved their goals on their Outward Bound courses in the UK last summer received a certificate at the Monaco Yacht Club on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from Outward Bound Monaco patron HSH Prince Albert. Having received said certificates, the course completing candidates were able to discuss their experiences with the Prince at the ceremony, as proud parents looked on.
